Pricing, charging
The pricing is determined by the language combination, the size of the order, the specialist area, the complexity and the intended use of the text to be translated, the existence of an in-house terminology compilation, etc.
The pricing of translations is based on the so-called standard line with 50-55 characters. Usually the target text is taken as a basis for calculating the line count. Exceptions are translations into languages with non-Latin characters. The line count is calculated electronically. Since the line count can only be calculated after preparation of the translation, fixed prices are frequently agreed.
