Quality management manual
The quality management manual describes with binding force how competencies, activities, processes, documentation and improvements are handled as a means of the quality management planning within the company as part of the individual elements of the quality management in the form of process and work instructions.
All employees keep themselves informed about the content of the quality management manual and carry out their tasks in accordance with the process and work instructions. If something is not functioning as planned, this must be reported to the management which then works out suggestions for solutions. Suggestions of the employees for improvements in the process flow or in the QMS are also to be checked and taken into account in the QMS and quality management manual by making appropriate changes. The quality management manual is also used if mistakes or defects occur in order to determine the causes with the help of the process and work instructions, to explain these to the employees and to establish measures to eliminate them.
