As early as 1997 we set up a developing quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:1994 and undertook through certification by the MPA/NRW (materials testing office for North Rhine-Westphalia) to formulate and adhere to a quality policy. This commitment embraces the development, maintenance and constant improvement of an effective and efficient quality management system with the aim of continuously complying with the customer requirements to optimum effect, on time while maintaining and increasing customer satisfaction.
For this purpose, we have formulated the quality policy and objectives, and determined and described processes and means for their realisation, observance, control and improvement. The process of constant improvement, the ongoing in-house monitoring of compliance with all the requirements and the measurement to the quality policy form the mainstays of our quality management system.
Our current quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 embraces
Translations with terminology maintenance
on the basis of DIN EN 15038:2006
Consequently, our current quality management system cannot be confused with a not easily assessable self-commitment to comply with the provisions of DIN EN 15038 covering translation services, which means that the compliance of all operational sequences of a translation service provider and all organisational requirements for providing the service are to be regulated in accordance with DIN EN 15038.
The certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 exceeds this in several points. The certification requires ongoing verifications and appropriate confirmations by an impartial authority. This is done in the form of annual audits and re-certifications taking place every three years.
